Our representatives and experts took part in a training for trainers on the Climate Expert approach, which took place from March 28 to April 01.
Climate Expert is a practical 4-step approach and workbook that helps small and medium-sized businesses analyze the risks and opportunities associated with climate change and develop strong adaptation strategies.
During the sessions, case studies of climate change impacts and adaptation for SMEs were discussed. Throughout the training, participants practiced their skills with practical examples. Exercises based on the examples in each of the five CET modules helped participants understand and learn how to use the tool.
Thanks to the training, our experts are now able to transfer knowledge to SMEs or work out adaptation possibilities for them, especially in the food processing sector.
This approach was developed by GIZ in collaboration with the consulting company Adelphi.
