Supporting youth entrepreneurship is one of our main goals, and we are constantly working to get more young people involved in training.
⠀
We are happy to see that our efforts are paying off and new business projects are coming to market.
⠀
Rachabov Hayotullo is one of these young people succeeding in business and trying to develop Turkish beauty products in Tajikistan.
⠀
You can learn more about Hayotullo’s business project “kauf.tj” from the interview:
1. Why did you decide to become an entrepreneur? 2. How did you come up with the idea?
The idea of entrepreneurship came to us as soon as we saw the profits of entrepreneurs. Together with a few friends, I decided to become an entrepreneur and make a big profit. We opened our own company and work as a representative of Turkish cosmetology companies in Tajikistan. We work with Turkish companies LARA SHiNE, DERMAPROF, KUAF, iDOX, BiODOX.
2. What did you get out of participating in the startup event Integrated Rural Development Project / TRIGGER?
I first learned at my university, the Agrarian University of Tajikistan, about holding such a seminar and about the project, and I became interested.
There I signed up and participated in all the seminars of the project in order to provide income to the population and improve my level of literacy. I learned how to run a business, how to keep records, how to sell, how to market products, and how to deal with customers.
3. What new projects are expected, and what are the company’s priorities for the next few years?
In the future we want to provide all cities and districts of the country with cosmetic products from Turkish companies and increase our sales even more and make more profit.
We are currently filling all the beauty salons in Dushanbe and Khujand with our beauty products – shampoos, creams and Turkish cosmetics.
We have four or five people in our business at the moment and have enough work for them, and in the future, when we go to all the cities and districts of the country and open branches, we will be able to attract more employees to our business and provide jobs.
4. Why do you advise new entrepreneurs to participate in training events?
I advise young entrepreneurs to participate in seminars and trainings held by GIZ and PEM Consult, and to improve their knowledge of entrepreneurship.
