Mr. Sabohatullo Muzaffarov holds a Master’s degree from the Tajik Agricultural University degree in Agricultural Science from the Tajik Agrarian University; interned in the U.S. on agricultural extension and post-harvest handling in Israel in agricultural sciences and has more than 20 years of working experience in the agriculture sector and AgSME development. Sabohatullo has more than 10 years of managerial experience within the IOs operating in the region and is very good in the design and implementation of agricultural advisory services. Prior to joining Agricultural Consulting, he worked as a Specialist at several leading agricultural farms and the international organizations German AgroAction, GIZ, USAID funded projects in the Central Asia region. He contributed to the implementation of the Food and Agriculture consortium for Tajikistan, the Productive agriculture project, Agriculture and Water activity, and the Agribusiness Competitiveness Activity in Tajikistan. He has more than 15 years of work experience in the implementation of agriculture projects, and cooperative development in low and middle-income countries: Tajikistan and Afghanistan. He has experience in value chain projects and in collaboration with local NGOs organized agriculture extension services in 12 districts of the Khatlon region, Tajikistan. He works to strengthen private sector capacity to improve the agriculture value chains of selected agricultural commodities (Apricot, Tomato, Melon, Early onion, Late onion, Dairy, and Beef). He has developed more than 100 brochures, textbooks, and training materials for AgSMEs and innovative entrepreneurs’ promotion. Very good experiences with GIZ, USAID, and EU-funded agribusiness development projects in the country. Experience in team management; excellent communicability.
