On December 6, the IRDP Comprehensive Rural Development Project Component IV “Promoting Start-ups in Tajikistan” | TRIGGER and the Tajik Agrarian University named after Shirinshokh Shotemur signed a bilateral agreement to develop the beekeeping sector in the Rasht Valley from production to sale of honey. The aim of this cooperation is to create a favorable environment for the growth of bee families, to create conditions for the increase of beekeeping products, as well as the development of entrepreneurship in the Rasht Valley.
The Memorandum was signed by Hennig Bungards – CEO of PEM Consult and Mahmaderzoda Usmon Mamur – Rector of Tajik Agrarian University named after Shirinshokh Shotemur, the meeting was also attended by representatives of the Project and the University.
This cooperation will provide an opportunity for mutual support and development in the field of beekeeping for both parties!
